Hi, I’m Ani.

I am a mixed-methods UX researcher. My strengths include executing end-to-end research projects in fast-paced environments, and communicating insights through storytelling and thought leadership.

I chose a career in UX research because of my passion for understanding how the human mind and the physical world work. In a parallel universe, I would have been an aerospace engineer building next-gen aircraft. But in the current one, I drive user-centered innovation for cutting-edge tech and have fun while doing it!

In my free time, I love to play (and watch) cricket, catch the newest world-war 2 movie, and browse Instagram Reels to plan my next travel itinerary!

When I’m not researching, I’m:

  • Playing Cricket

I’ve grown up playing the sport both competitively and for fun, and captained my high school team! You can catch me playing day matches with my local team on the weekends, and hitting the nets during weekday practice.

  • Watching Movies

I enjoy movies based on true stories, especially World War 2 spy thrillers. My wife and I will sit and tease apart storytelling devices used by the directors. She is an art director in the motion design industry, so I will pause a scene and as her “how would they have shot this” and she’ll geek out!

  • Traveling

Traveling to new cities and counties revitalizes me. I love trying local cuisines, exploring on foot, and window shopping in local boutiques. Whether it is road-tripping or long-hauing across continents, I love all modes of transportation, which makes the journey fun. I am currently running out of fridge space from all the magnets I’ve collected from my travels!
